Chaos in Indian Parliament as Trinamool protest against BJP

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress MPs took to loud and raging protests in the Parliament on Wednesday.
The Trinamool MPs held up placards, a day after an ugly clash with the members of the ruling BJP in the house, reported an Indian online news portal, the Indian Republic.
Owing to these protests and ruckus created in the parliament, the Rajya Sabha had to be adjourned twice.
The Lok Sabha Speaker, Sumitra Mahajan repeatedly rebuked the MPs and warned them not to force her to take tough stand. She warned everyone that placards were not allowed in the Parliament.
MPs from the two parties almost came to blows over the Railway Budget proposals, which the Trinamool Congress says reflects gross neglect of Bengal.
Trinamool MP Kalyan Banerjee had been seen rushing out of the Parliament, shouting that a drunk BJP MP had threatened to beat up his party colleagues and misbehaved with Kakoli Ghosh, a woman MP. However, the BJP has denied the accusations.
West Bengal Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee termed the parliament incident as unfortunate and said that the type of language used against woman MPs including her is not correct. “I am disgusted,” said an angered Mamata Banerjee.
Banerjee also lashed out against the Rail Budget, saying, “Bengal has been given nothing. Are we beggars?”
